Lucy
A donation was made in memory of Lucy by Doctors and Staff of the Chuckanut Valley Veterinary Clinic on Feb 28, 2016.
She was our first ever dog and the light of our home. She was so vibrant and full of life. She would run on our property chasing birds and rabbits, but would run the fastest to us if we called her. She was loyal and loving, she was my little white shadow, always a step away.
She was a young 5 years when she injured her back about a month ago with her high energy jumping and playing. She was in a lot of pain so the vet gave her some muscle relaxers and we tried to keep her quiet. One evening all of a sudden, she stopped breathing and in a minute she was gone. She died in my arms as I tried to comfort her.
We miss her terribly and can't believe she is gone. She left us way too early. We hope the donation made in her name helps other dogs who should not leave their homes and families too soon. She was so very loved and died peacefully, and for that we are grateful. Thank you for all the work you do to keep our precious pets healthy.
