“Neo”, Mt. High’s Neon Lights (Nov. 27, 2003 – Apr. 23, 2010) was only six years old when he passed away. He gave me more joy, laughter, and love in those six years than I can ever describe. Neo loved people (especially his groomer Cindy), and his personality and character drew people to him. He was a devil (at times I thought about changing his name to Damien and sometimes called him the spawn of satan), he was flirtatious (he loved blond haired ladies), he was jealous (he was always worried the other dogs were getting something he wasn't), he loved his momma (he was always by my side). It would take me six years to tell all the stories about Neo. I want to thank Dr. Leese and her staff at Mountain. Empire Veterinary Service for treating Neo as their own, teaching me to care for him when he became ill, allowing him to die with dignity, and giving me the opportunity to memorialize him through this site.
