BEN
Our little man Benjamin (aka Mr. Ben, Benny-Wens, Sweet Pea, or Grumpy Grumpkins to his family and friends) was the joy of our life for 13 years. Despite the rough exterior, Ben was a playful marshmallow at heart who enjoyed being chased by humans and critters alike, loved a good game of tug-of-war with his toys, and was quick to flop for tummy rubs by his mommies. Some of our fondest memories of Ben come from the “Big Chill” weekends on the Washington coast where the carefree romps on the beach brought him his greatest joy. We’ll never forget the excitement in his eyes, or that tired droopy tongue, after a hard workout chasing seagulls and the foam of the waves crashing on the beach. The first time Ben experienced the beach was the first time we realized the joy a parent feels to see their child so happy. Many thanks to Dr. Heeren and the staff at Greenlake Animal Hospital and Dr. Hall at VRC for their dedicated and compassionate care of Ben over the years
