Comments: Shanti was a great friend to Kitty, the whippet, whom has also passed as well as me, Dave T. They spent time together in salt lake city and phoenix and are probably snuggling together in doggy heaven. I miss every dog that dies and but know that the humans, my friends chris and gigi are better for having her in their lives. Although she has moved on, she will never be forgotten.... I'm not really sure how she survived Phoenix, truthfully?! Thanks Chris and Gigi for sharing her with the world.

Comments: Chris and Gigi, Though I only met her once, I feel as if I've known her for as long as I've known you. Your love and affinity for Shanti was seen and acknowledged by all. She was truly blessed to have you as family as well as you all for having such a great companion. Brian and Tanya

Comments: Shanti means Peace in Hindi. This name truly suited her personality. She had a very regal demeanor about herself, blue blood as my sister would say. A very independent, smart, and playful dog on her terms. After fetching a few times, she figured out the game and decided "Why am I doing this?". She loved her two humans unconditionally all the way until the end. She hung in there like a champion, even during her most trying moments towards the end of her life. Waiting for her other human to return home to say her goodbyes. Her eyes so sad said it all! I don't want to be in this body anymore. Please release me and allow me to be the free spirit you once knew. "I love you", she said in her doggy language, but I must go now. I will always be with you in Spirit whenever you call. I love and miss you so much my dear gentle one, always there to keep me company. Be free and enjoy your new spirt-life, "My little Queen of Peace, Shanti, Shanti, Shanti." I love you, Gigi
