We got Cole as a puppy from his breeder on Whidbey Island. We went to go look at him & of course, brought him home. He grew into his beautiful giant ears & had a long, soft, toasted marshmallow colored coat, with light colored angel wings on both shoulders. He was a gentle soul & I loved him fiercely. He started having seizures when he was 4 & we took him to several doctors who put him on heavy doses of meds. 7 months before he died, he started having cluster seizures every 2 weeks. 14 pills a day. On his last day his seizures wouldn't stop & he was trying to hide in the corners of our yard. I was devastated & still am. He died a month before his 8th birthday. I still find his hair on my clothes & still look for him when I walk in my door.
