Abby

As a WSU Alumnus (BS Chemical Eng 1966) I am aware of and supportive of all the good work the Vet School does.
Abby was a female Airedale born in April 2008. She was a great dog...she loved children and other dogs. She had a sweet disposition and was with us for 12+ years.
She was very healthy, but at about 10 years old she developed hypothyroidism and was prescribed Thyroxine, She did well on that medication and was active was able to go our daily walks. She loved driving down to the Post Office to pick up the mail and then walk at the golf course at Chambers Bay,
We were very sad when she passed, but after four months we were able to get another pet to fill in the big hole that Abby left. Roz is a Welsh Terrier puppy that will keep us busy for the next phase or our lives.
Abby was cared for by a couple of WSU vets at Chambers Creek Vet Center in Lakewood, WA.
