Our family rescued Cooper from the animal shelter in 2011, and our lives are forever changed. We believe he was a Rhodesian Ridgeback, boxer mix and came to us at approximately age three. Cooper had obviously been abused and had a general mistrust of men, along with a fierce protective instinct of women. He had a gentle heart with his family, and loved to be cuddled, touched and brushed. He was quirky, playful, a master "howler", the most loyal friend, and the best big brother to Easton, our Pomeranian/shih tzu. Cooper added the most love and joy to our family, and we miss him every single day. We'll forever be grateful that we were able to love and be loved by him for 12 years, and that in those years he felt safe, happy and adored.
