I adopted Rosie in January 2011, while living in San Francisco. She had been a street dog (puppy) in Guatemala and was brought to the US in December of 2010. Rosie was fiercely independent, but also my steadfast and loyal companion for 14.5 years. She brought such joy and purpose to my life…she was my best friend. My house feels so empty and quiet without her and I miss her terribly. I eventually will get another dog, but it breaks my heart to know there will never be another “Rosie.” Rest in peace sweet girl, momma loves you!
