Claire
A donation was made in memory of Claire on Nov 16, 2010.
Remembering Claire 1991-9/27/10. Claire was a sweet 19 1/2 year old cat.
She is sorely missed. Claire was an observer, as a young cat she would peer around corners, hardly detectable. She had definite rules about how to be approached, it took years before I could touch her head then in later years she not only wanted her face and ears and throat petted but also put a paw in my free hand as I was scratching her. This was our routine when I came home from work everyday. She would sometimes run or trot to greet me, and she was not alone all day either. It was a slow progression of love and trust over the years. 19 1/2 years is a long time, I am proud that I took good care of you Claire-ee, just as I promised you I would.
