In a paragraph, Bangs was my very best friend. She was with me for 19 ½ years, longer than any human companion. She was playful, smart, had a great sense of humor, extremely tolerant and gentle, except when she liked to attack my arm and feet, loved to hunt when she was young and loved to lay in the sunshine as she got older. She was my traveling companion, my heart center, and I still feel her with me every day. I know she is still with me. I love her and miss her like crazy, but I know I’ll be with her again.
