Artsifus Maximus. The Ginga Ninja. Caramel Latte. You were my crazy thread in life. We rescued you and your (non-biological) brother from the shelter, and you were polar opposites. Dante took to his new home instantly. You hid behind Rubbermaid containers in the basement for HOURS while your new dad laid on his stomach the whole time, trying to coax you out. Ultimately, I swear the interest in what your brother was doing pulled you out of your shell and brought you upstairs to us. You romped like a maniac across the lawn when you were younger. Your eyes sparkled with mischief when the zoomies struck. Most of all, you thought you were so tough when in reality, you could be such a chicken. The slightest thing could provoke you to grumpyville, but not with me. For some reason, you learned to trust me. I was the one to administer the meds, shots, vet visits, messy bottom wipes - but you trusted me. I miss you. Dante almost died from the loss of you. Your dad even misses you swiping at him as he walked by. We miss you baby. You didn't deserve how it came to an end. It should have been peaceful, and it was so very far from it.
