It was 13 years ago when we received a phone call from an organization we had fallen in love with called the Pit Bull Project. They had rescued a little girl from a terrible situation and they were contemplating putting her to sleep. We went and visited her at the vet and committed to help her regain her strength and health. It was quite a first year with her - and then, her love just poured out. She became the princess of the household, the snuggler of all snugglers, and she was the most perfect girl anyone could ask for. She loved sun bathing, she was the pickiest eater, but she LOVED her treats. She tried to chase balls, but her bulky body would run right past it before she could get it into her mouth. We loved her so much. RIP to our dearest Stella Jean - we love you, girl!
