Charlie was the sweetest hound ever. He loved walks, snow, sniffing everything he could, lazing in the sun, sleeping on the couch or bed, eating carrots and being with his people, Clint and Alison (or letting them be with him). He made us smile on every walk when we'd let him off the leash in our block and he would run (trot when he was older), make the turn up the stairs and bay with excitement for his meal. Every time. It makes me smile even now.
