I adopted my ferret Jasper and his brother Felix in 2012 when they showed up at the pet store I worked at that sometimes took in SPCA animals to adopt out. I was not in the market for two more ferrets, but we really had no room for them at the store, so I took them home! They were both one year old and in bad shape. They became instant beloved members of our family. This past Christmas Jasper was diagnosed with a rare and severe casy of lymphoblastic lymphosarcoma. We will miss him every day.
