My husband & I got Sydney from a local shelter after she had 5 kittens at six months old. This caused her to lose a kidney and at 7 years went into renal failure. For 8 more years we gave her fluids every 2 to 3 days. She was a very lively cat, ran our household and managed to have a very active life. Anyone who came to our door, she was the first to greet them and always showed them one of her toys. She had the personality that every cat should have. She was friendly, outgoing, kept all the other cats in line and loved to sit in your lap. I miss her every day.
