Barrett

A donation was made in memory of Barrett by Drs. Kathryn, Gary, and Edward Haigh at Haigh Veterinary Hospital on Oct 28, 2024.

Bear-Bear (aka Barrett) was my first dog, unusual I'm sure at 62, and a devastating loss to my husband and I.

Here we go, I'm tearing up already... Bear-Bear, you were such a sweet and beautiful boy, and a BIG boy too! Thank you for picking me to come home with <3. At 100, approaching your first birthday, we took great care to train with you every day, several times a day and you were so patient with me, thank you, I love you so much. Never a "dog" person, you stole my heart and I miss you every single day. In your short time on earth, I am so glad you got to play in the Puget Sound, chew on oyster shells (Shelly was your favorite toy for a long time), we got to run in the fields, slide in the mud, play fetch for hours and sneak treats together; you got to jump after sticks in the pond, and make fast friends with the sheep, the cow, the goats, April the llama, and Lil Bot the pig thought you were so cool man...along with all the other farm animals, but maybe not so much , the cat, lol. We took a week-long road trip to Idaho, and Bear-Bear, you made me feel safe and loved. I am so, so sorry you had to leave us but know you are at peace running with wild abandon over the rainbow bridge. Until we meet again - I love you baby, I just love you and miss you so much.
