I have read all of your comments and am deeply touched by your care and concern. Please forgive me that I have not responded to each of you personally. It just hurts so bad. I can barely see through my tears just to write this. Over my nearly 50 years in borzoi, many dogs have passed, yet not since the 70s has one affected me so deeply. Because she was special, because she was so young and had no chance to meet her potential, or because we tried so long and so hard to save her? I don’t know, I just know that I miss her and she was so very loved. Rest well, Miss P, I miss you so.
