Roxy

A donation was made in memory of Roxy by Dr. Sederstrom on Jul 12, 2016.

In 2005 we first met our beloved Roxy at the very last shelter we visited. It was love at first sight! I opened her kennel door, instantly she put her paws on each of my shoulders and kissed me all over my face!

We left without Roxy... I got a phone call a few days later from the shelter informing us they were going to euthanize her. They wanted to let us know prior since we had shown interest in her. I went and adopted her right then and there!

Roxy was a beautiful specimen of a dog! She was lean and muscular, had a beautiful soft brindle coat of hair, and was just as sweet as could be. The first few months were rough, I thought I was going to kill her, as she chewed up I can't tell you how many pairs of my shoes, as well as CD's and DVD's. After some time and much needed kennel training she turned into the best dog a pet owner could ask for.

She was with us for 11 years. Through the birth of all our children, buying our first home with a big backyard and many other amazing memories! She loved to sunbathe, whether it be outside or in the house where the sun shone through the window. She could do all sorts of tricks but her best was dancing, she could dance on her back legs for as long as you wanted her to.

Roxy will always be in our hearts and memories. She is missed dearly by all who met her as she always left an impact on those she was around.

Rest in Peace Roxy-girl, until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge!
