FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS.....BEST PUPPY EVER! “DAISY MAE”

Thank you to all the staff and students at the WSU Teaching Hospital! We would also like to thank Dr. Bill Aycock of Mill Creek Veterinary Hospital in Walla as well as Bret Smith of Animal Clinic of Walla Walla. You all took very good care of our Daisy Mae and did all you could to keep her healthy for as long as she was able to be. Thank you also to Dr. Aycock for donating to WSU in honor of our Daisy Mae.

Daisy was such a beautiful girl! She always wanted to go hunting and had the best disposition. You often times were stubborn, but that is just because you had such as strong heart and spirit.

You left us quickly and we were not prepared to say goodbye. We did not want you to suffer however, and knew that it was not fair to keep you here for our benefit. You will forever be in our hearts and from time to time, we are able to see some of the 21 Puppies that you delivered into this world happy and healthy. You live on in them as well.

You will always be “The Best Puppy Ever” as I told you this often! Even when we get other puppies, they will have big paws to fill. You taught our son Jasper how to love and how to deal with loss and that is hard for a child to do. 3 ½ years was not long enough but we are so glad that we had you for that time. Goodbye our Huckleberry Hound………we will see you again someday our Daisy Mae.

Lisa M.
