Chocolate "Chip" Hammer was a Black and Tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel born in Cheney, WA. He was very loved by his human birth mom, Monica; his human family, Mark, Joyce, Ian, and Erika, his Auntie Sharon and daycare provider; and a host of extended family. Unlike the typical Cavalier, Chip was more shy but loyal and true to his family and friends. We hope that future research on heart valve issues inherent in the Cavalier breed may lead to being able to extend the life of these wonderful companions.
