Mr. Foo was a rescue dog we adopted at the age of 8. He loved chasing tennis balls and could catch one in mid-air, sometimes jumping several feet off the ground. He rarely missed. He would even dive into lakes and rivers to retrieve a tennis ball. He also loved going for walks and exploring in the woods near our house. You could not use the word "walk" in a sentence without him getting excited, so we would often spell the word instead of saying it. When he was really happy he would lay on his back with all four legs in the air so you could scratch his belly. He was friendly and sweet tempered. He never growled except when there was danger, like the time he sensed a bear outside the house. We loved him dearly and he is sorely missed, but we know we made him happy in the 6 years he spent with us.
