She was one tough Lakeland terrier. She was also a testament to good Vets. She was nearly 16 years when we lost her. Her life was saved early on when she was attacked by a Pit Bull. She lost a kidney in that confrontation. Then when the remaining kidney started to fail, another good Vet identified the situation. With the help of a third good Vet, her medications were adjusted to allow her to live almost 5 years with that failing kidney. Thank you to all the good Vets and to one tough, beautiful girl. Her spirit lives on.
