Johanna was my girl. She was my rock, my companion, my best friend. She took care of me as much, if not more, then I took care of her. And then she took care of my children. She always knew what people needed....she could read them. I called her an old soul because she was so wise and in tune with those most in need. I could count on her. She was smart and playful....and loved the tennis ball.....but not as much as she loved peanut butter. My heart is empty without her. I still try to make sense of why God took her from me so quickly and so young. Johanna was only 8 years old and she had so much more life in her and so much more good to do and more lives to touch. She was truly unique and special. I have a permanent hole in my heart. She was my soulmate and I know someday I will see her again...I know she will be waiting for me to greet me and be by my side again.
