Simon

A donation was made in memory of Simon on Aug 08, 2012.

I recently lost my Boston Terrier of over 12 years – Simon. Simon was the other half of my fabulous canine duo – Carly and Simon. Carly was an Australian Cattle dog that I lost last year. Carly and Simon became fast friends and lived a great life together. Unfortunately, Simon was diagnosed with a grade 3 mast cell tumor in 2010. He underwent surgery to remove the tumor and had chemo to slow his cancer. He did great for quite a while, but ultimately lost the battle and passed away on June 15, 2012. Letting him go was one of the hardest things I ever had to do.

Simon was a spunky, cute, energetic little Boston Terrier. Everyone who met him fell in love. I got married in 2010 and we all moved into our new home with our new family. The boys and my husband instantly became big fans of our “Lil Buddy”. Simon was the best little snuggle buddy anyone could ask for and was always up for a nap or snuggling on the couch. He especially enjoyed popcorn with my husband and bounded off the couch every time the popper was fired up. We are so fortunate to have enjoyed so many great years with both Carly and Simon, but it is still hard and I miss them both each and every day.

I appreciate all the work you do at WSU Veterinary Medicine. Go Cougs! -WSU Alum, Class of ’96.
