Bubbie was born blind in Lubbock, TX and was a wonderful little dog from the very beginning! He could go to any house and figure out where the food was placed and the door to ask to go outside or doggy door. At 1 year old he had to have a blood transfusion due to the effects of the vaccinations. Like a champ he came out of it and lived a long life. If he got excited, he would run in circles. Everyone thought that was so funny! During his 14.5 years of life, I had to carry him to put him in bed, which he slept as long as I did plus, pick him up when he was ready to get down in the morning. I knew he was dependent on me to care completely for him, and I was proud to do so. He rode many miles in a car or plane with me visiting my kids which they always welcomed him too. He was a perfect companion and I loved him very much! One thing I wish, I could have healed his little enlarged heart, but I know he is in heaven and waiting for me to pick him up once again!
