"Princess was the Bestest Dog in the World."
Princess was born on Christmas morning 1995, her mother passed away a few days later, leaving a whole litter of pups to be bottle fed, warmed and cleaned. 2 of the litter didn't survive. Princess was very fragile, having to be taken to a babysitter to be cared for while we were at work. But she pulled through. Nobody wanted princess, she wasn't the cutest of the bunch which turned out to be a blessing for our family. Princess blossomed into the best dog any family could ask for, tolerant of our children and later grand children, letting them dress her up and crawl on her, with never so much as a growl. She was always a great mother to any other pets (including cats) that we introduced to our home, bathing them, following them around, tolerating the ear biting and playing. She was so very loyal to all the members of our family, never forging ahead on walks or trails until everyone was accounted for and in her sight. Princess is greatly missed by all of our family, but know she will be waiting to greet us all again with her tail wagging.
