Hello,

Jake was part of our family for almost 10 years. During that time, the staff at Riverview Animal Clinic in Clarkston, WA have always taken care of his needs. They are a wonderful dedicated caring staff. I was surprised to receive in the mail today that they had cared enough about my dog, Jake, to make a donation to this site in his honor.

Jakes most favorite thing to do in the world was to go to the river and get large rocks out of the river. He could do this all day long. On the day that he passed away, I took him down to the river one last time to play in the river and gather rocks. On that trip, he carried around his prized rock possessions the whole time we were there. It warmed my heart that he still had the energy to enjoy the excursion. I’ve kept both of his rocks and am planning on having his name engraved in one of them to place in my rock garden. If Jake couldn’t be at the river, his 2nd most favorite thing was to play in his swimming pool in the backyard.

Thank you for allowing me to share my love for Jake with you and for posting his picture on your webpage. He was an awesome dog.
