On August 2, 2022 we said good-bye to our wonderful dog, Luna. She was with us for 16 years of adventures. She was a mighty huntress and loved being outside more than anything. Her preference was always "half-in, half-out" with half her body in the house near us and half keeping an eye on the yard if we would leave the door open. She kept the yard free of varmints and once took on three raccoons at once, chasing all three into a tree. Her incredible athleticism lasted into her teens, and she was still joining us for 4 mile walks at 14 years old. She was uniquely beautiful, sweet as could be, but with plenty of sass. We miss her terribly and are forever grateful for the time we had with her.
