Toby came into our life in 2014. He was supposed to be a mini Australian Shepherd but when we went to pick him up, he was the only one of his siblings who didn’t look like an Australian Shepherd. We fell in love immediately and he became part of our family and my constant companion. When he was one, he was hit by a car and broke his jaw, clavicle, hip and crushed his skull. They didn’t think he would live, but he did and thrived until last November when he started to suffer from constant pain. We had to make the hard decision to let him go when he started having very serious health issues and we miss him terribly every day. We appreciate our amazing veterinarian who set up a memorial fund in his honor.
