Peanut

A donation was made in memory of Peanut by Norma on Mar 30, 2017.

Peanut came into my life at Christmas in 1998. She was a tiny puppy full of spunk, a mere 8 weeks old - a gift from my sister. I was a poor college student paying my way. Peanut came with me to campus, and spent a lot of time in the dorm rooms of friends. From 1998 until March of 2017, Peanut moved with me from Pennsylvania to Virginia and DC (for grad school), where she lived in two different apartments before settling into our first home. Along the way we picked up another person (my husband), a cat, and another rescue pup. She made the cross-country trip to Seattle in 2014, and settled in before we picked up yet another rescue pup. Peanut was with me for half of my life, for better and worse, from when we both ate bottom-of-the-barrel food, until the days of organic and healthy meals. What can I say about a lifetime? She was my little buddy. She was smart. She was eternally optimistic. She is loved, and will be missed.
