Ruby was an amazing Dashchund. We got her when she was 23 days old, on September 3, 2005. She passed 13 years and 2 months later on November 1, 2018. Because she was so young when we got her, she came to school with me everyday for about a month so that she could have frequent feedings & cuddles. She was so devoted to me. She slept in bed, under the covers with my husband & me. I wanted to name her Ruby and my teenage son agreed as long as her name was Ruby Tuesday! Yes, that sounded great!. She went everywhere with us and was a great traveler. She would get so excited when she saw her harness and leash, that could only mean something good was happening. Having her put to sleep was absolutely heartbreaking. I think of her often and smile at the memories of those 13 years with such a faithful, sweet dog.
