Rusty

A donation was made in memory of Rusty by Doctors and Staff of the Skyline Animal Hospital on Nov 15, 2012.

Rusty, a red miniature pinscher, was welcomed into our home when he was only 3 months old. He soon became the center of attention. He had so much energy and was oh so playful. He would bounce when we would run. Everyone at Skyline enjoyed his playfulness and his bounce...and boy could he jump...straight up! Recently, Rusty was diagnosed with diabetes and we were sadly informed that his eyesight would be gone within 6 months. In addition to the eyesight failing, his body began to fail as with most elderly dogs. The day we said good bye was so difficult, but we knew it was time for us to let him go.

We will forever have an empty spot in our hearts for Rusty. He was truly a wonderful friend and will be missed dearly. We are so grateful to Skyline Animal Hospital for all their love and care for Rusty over his 15 years of life. We also appreciate their donation to WSU in his memory.

Mike, Julie and Kara F.
