An ordinary day transformed into an extraordinary day by just one letter that arrived in the mail.

We were informed by the WSU Pet Memorial Program that Vista Vet Hospital (Kennewick) had made a donation in our pet Louie's name. What joy that brought to our hearts to honor Louie in such a valuable manner.

Louie's lifetime was fraught with multiple health issues and surgeries through which he always remained stoic and brave and the most gentle and sweet boy ever. We kiddingly joked that he was a "frequent flyer" of Vista Vet.

We have nothing but admiration and deepest gratitude for Louie's personal vet, Dr. Goebel as well as the team of other vets at the clinic. All are stellar alumni of the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine and so we also express appreciation to WSU for the superb education, training and preparation of these knowledged, compassionate and dedicated people.

In remembrance of our remarkable and beloved Louie: Louie you were truly a one in a million pet of which we had the good fortune to share a decade of our lives with. May you run like the wind, jump high as if light as a feather, and play with happy and unbridled abandon once again. RIP
