Sir

A donation was made in memory of Sir by Dr. Newnham at Companion Animal Wellness Center on Mar 01, 2018.

Sir came to us when we lived in Seattle. Somehow he had lost his home. He was hungry and wanted a home, well he came to the right place. At first we fed him outside and put a bed for him on our porch. Then one day while I was in my recliner he came to the door, looked around and came over and jumped in my lap and laid down. That was it. He was ours. Sir had some things that needed to be taken care of right away. Ear mites were bad. We also had him neutered. He also had some other infections due to male fighting. We moved here to the Kitsap Peninsula 10 years ago and of course Sir came with us. He loved it here, not much traffic and lots of wild bunnies. We're right by a state park and he made his own entrance. He was always on good terms with the park rangers. They even brought his collar home one day with a note, "Sir left his collar at the park- thought he might like to have it back." We found out after he passed away that he would go down the block to spend time with an older widower man just to keep him company. One neighbor noticed that when we moved in that there was a decrease in rats in his boat house. Good Cat. Sir would also keep another neighbor company while he worked on his old car. Sir would get up in the engine compartment and watch what Larry was doing. Guess he was a gear head too. Sir was a true Gentleman. Russell and I miss him terribly. We still have a hard time talking about him without tears. He was our FURRY SON. Sir was between 16 and 19 years old when he died.
