Little Lady
A donation was made in memory of Little Lady by Doctors and Staff of the Pet Loss Hotline on Nov 30, 2009.
Littly Lady was first to the last puppy born, the runt of the litter. I spent the night at my daughters as we all were so tired. So, the next days eight new puppies had there first truck ride home to Orofino, Idaho. My driveway is extremely long and still winter. While I was gone my neighbor had plowed the road the best he could with a back hoe. So, I thought there would be no problems get home .OOPS, the truck got stuck halfway home. As I looked around to find something to put the puppies in, I found a bag and Thanked God for having that bag, as I didn't know how I was going to get them home. So, as I place each baby in the bag, Bear watch intently, then as we started our walk up the hill Moma Bear was walking, ,jumping and keeping a eye on that bag, as the snow falling and wind was blowing. Finially, we made it home and I turned on the heat I fixed Moma Bear and her puppies into there prepared bed, Moma sungelled up with her babies and a si of relief from both of us.
The next morning, I checked on everyone and found the runt making a clicking sound so I called Dr. Myers and She put her on Amoxicellion. After only two weeks of Antibiotics, she started coming around and started being a puppy. WIth eyes wide open and crowling, then to her first wabbeling steps to learning to walk. Playing with her brothers and sisters. and watching them play fighting and first barks, then curlilng up for nap with there front legs wrapped around each other or heads placed next to each other in a heart. Just watching them growing up gave me so much joy, luaghter at there antyics and seeing each personality appear.
Milk would come out of her noise nursing and when she started drinking form a bowl the call to vet how she thought it was her esoficuse. I noticed Little Lady throwing up her food. The clicking sound had gone away and threw out the next ten weeks. The treoughig up subsided, but then she started again so I had been feeding soft food so I got a bright Idea mixing wet food with baby food and that helped for three weeks. during that times she learned how to go up and down the stairs to go out side. eventhought she was small there than her other seven sibblings she roamed and played as if she was as big as them, she was though, sweet, loving and stold my heart I knew something was wrong and was going to keep her and that is when I named her Little for she was and Lady as she had a presents of a fine Royal Elegent Lady, for Little Lady.
Little Lady's Side Trip For A Short Life Lived
Little Lady was doing just fine until I made another trip to Clarkston, Washington. Little lady still was througing up but not as much. While at my duaghter Little Lady started wining and I thought she had to go outside. So, I went outside with her and she started sneezing and threw up yellow snotty fluid out of her noise and throat. i call; the Riverside Clinic for a appointment. Dr. Ponnozzo, said her heart, lung extra were just fine and I said something is wrong. So I left her for xrays to be taken with bareum fluid so they could see what was wrong. I was hopedfull but full of fear that things were going to be bad.The two lady that were with me when she was born, were with me for the new as the assistant had fallen in love with her also.
