Duffy

When I went to the breeder to pick out a wheaten colored Scottish Terrier, I could not decide between two pups. The breeder (she and I had a mutual friend) told me one had a true scotty’s build, a better tail and coat. The other pup was much broader and his tail was not as good. At that point, the broad pup jumped on my lap and started to chew my buttons. You guessed it. He was my dog for 14 ½ wonderful years.

We used to have New Year’s Day parties with 100 people watching all the football games. Duffy (our scotty) who watched with us, would run over to T.V. set every time there was a tackle, bark and hit the tackler with his paw. Our friends fell in love with him.

Another favorite show was anything with horses. Every time he saw a horse, Duffy would cry and walk behind the set looking for the horse.

He was sweet, funny, devoted, broad and is sorely missed.
