Jesse was a spur of the moment decision to rescue an adorable, friendly, and peppy lab-pitt mix from a run down house with at least 5 other pitbulls living there. No shots, not spayed, but a bundle of joy, we took her home and picked up our pet supplies on the way. Fast forward 12 years, attending our wedding, multiple cross country moves, and welcoming two human siblings later, we said goodbye to Jess as she was battling aggressive cancer. Never a complainer and always in good spirits, it is hard to know how much she suffered through for more time with us.

We are forever grateful for the world's best dog.

She is survived by her little bro and sis who will never fully understand the extent to which she loved and protected them, a village of friends and family that loved her as their own, and two very, very heartbroken parents.
