Sarge was really Sargent Pepper, one of 4 pups with Beatles' song names, rescued by AARF (http://www.aarfanimals.org/) 50% Pit Bull & 50% English Bull Terrier but looking like a pseudo Boxer mix. He was born December 16, 2008 and we got him on March 16th 2009 so he did not make it to 6 years by a month. He was euthanized due to generalized lymphoma that was very aggressive and rapidly growing. He was a roommate of Emmett a 10 yr-old Bull Terrier that we lost Dec 30th, 2012 of an acute arrhythmia without warning. Recently we had rescued another dog from AARF on February 28th, 2014, for Sarge to have a mate so now we are down to one mutt left.
