Prince Charming
A donation was made in memory of Prince Charming by the doctors and staff at Valley Veterinary Hospital on Jun 15, 2022.
Prince Charming was and will forever be remembered as the best boy.
His mom adopted him when he was about 6 months old after he went through 3 different families. He was then trained to be a therapy animal, where he spent the first 8 years of his life bringing joy to residents at a low income nursing home. His mom will never forget visiting him and seeing a woman with advanced dementia go from screaming and crying to laughing and petting Prince in a matter of moments after he jumped in her lap. He always had an innate sense for people who needed him. After retiring from the nursing home, Prince then helped his mom get through her BA, MA, and PhD. He also witnessed his mom and dad fall in love and get married. In his final years, Prince’s favorite activities included naps, snacks, spending time with his favorite scooby-doo toy he had since he was a puppy, and loving on his mom and dad.
The day he died, he snuggled up next to his mom prior to passing and later that day his mom and dad saw a cloud that looked like him in the sky.
