On the afternoon of the first day in my new Orchards Wa. apartment, I decided to walk to the YMCA which is located one block from my front door. Just steps from my place a Beautiful Black kitty with long white whiskers raced down from the top of a very tall tree...and joined me in walking to the Y. I was inside for about two hours...and upon leaving I noticed the same gorgeous kitty dart out from a bush along side the Y...and immediately we're walking in step all the way to my front door. I brought him food...a bed with Sherpa blankets and a safe structure to place his bed. He quickly snuggled under the blankets and ate a big dinner. We were not allowed to have pets inside our apartments so I provided my kitty with everything he needed to be safe...warm and loved for 10 years! The rules changed after that POOKY (a fitting name my adult Son chose) lived inside with me until he was nearly 18. We happily got old together. I just lost My Sweet Precious Pooky on Sept. 24th 2024. Unfortunately he has been Very sick for the last 6 years of his life...but never the less...we played...and sang (I wrote a Beautiful song for him that I sang while playing the guitar)...he was a Wonderful Friend...the Best actually....and a True Lap Cat! In the end I was able to hold him and talk lovingly to him at his Vets office where he gently passed away. I miss him SO SO MUCH...He will remain in my heart forever♥️♥️♥️
