We first met Trixie when she was about two months old on a snowy December evening. She was a Christmas gift for our daughter, but of course for all of us too. We had to brave icy roads to get to her in Monroe and on the drive I asked, "what would it take for us to not bring her home with us"? Of course none of us could think of a reason. Within moments of first meeting her she captured our hearts by doing a backward "moonwalk". Trixie was a Shetland Sheepdog and true to form she was constantly by our sides and happiest when everyone was together. She was sweet and gentle, cute and fluffy, one ear up and one ear down. During her lifetime many changes happened in our family and she was by my side through the greatest challenges of my life. I am so thankful for having her in our lives, she truly was a gift. We miss you Trixie and will always love you.
