A donation was made in memory of Eleanor by

Eleanor was a spiritual being. There is no doubt about it. She was a Maine Coon mother who was emaciated yet trying to keep several kittens alive in a parking garage in Pomona, CA. Two of the kittens were killed and two were saved. My sister Carole saved Eleanor and her last baby and brought them to my house. They were loaded with fleas and Eleanor's hair was falling out, but she had the sweetest disposition. I named her Eleanor after Eleanor Roosevelt. She was my support animal through my life. She shouldn't have died. She was an indoor cat. She never got into anything. Not ever. A sweetheart who looked after not only me but her son, who I named Buddy. She died unexpectedly, possibly poisoned by cat food. This has devastated me to no end. Buddy needed her, too. I have owned other cats well into their 20s but Eleanor was different. She was special. She had a soul. Will miss her forever.
