Sampson was an unusual cat from the beginning. We were at the animal shelter to pick a couple of kitties to fill the gap left when our beloved cat of 16 years died. As we looked high and low in the over abundance of available creatures this cuddly kitten reached out from one of the upper cages and deftly lifted my husband's straw hat from his head. We decided then that he had picked us so we took him home. He was more like a puppy than a cat. He followed us where ever we went and was constantly into what we were doing. We treated him for the kidney disease he suffered from for over two years before it got so bad we could not stand to see him suffer. I know he is not suffering any more but is following his new friends around causing trouble.
