A donation was made in memory of Rigby by Doctors and Staff of the The Ark Animal Hospital on Apr 28, 2011.

Some friendships only last for a brief time while others can span a lifetime, though our little Rigby was only with us for just shy of two years she filled them with a lifetime of memories which will be cherished by each and every life she touched. She evidently must have taken her name seriously as her focus in life was to befriend any and all she came in contact with and would not be satisfied until you complied with her desire to have you as her new best friend.
She was smart, funny (her nickname became "Giggleby"), affectionate and very brave possessing an indomitable spirit. She also had quite the compassionate side, during one of her all too frequent visits to our Vet she snuck away from my wife while she was at the counter checking out. Rigby had found a new friend around the corner, a chocolate lab, who was in to have a tumor removed and who was visibly upset as he was shaking all over and not happy to be there at all. Rigby had sidled on over and laid down next to him, rested her head on his neck and placed her paw on one of his as if to say, "it's going to be okay, I know these people and they will take real good care of you."
We are eternally grateful to Drs Scott & Ann as well as the entire staff of the Ark Animal Clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their dedication to their craft and the professionalism, care and concern they exhibit towards some of the most lovable members of God's creation as well as towards their owners has made having to say goodbye to Rigby for now much easier. We consider ourselves truly blessed to not only have everyone at the Ark as our veterinarians but also our friends!
