Memorial for Sara Joy
One early morning in August 2004 a very small cat was found in our driveway. She was so small that her mother could hold her in the palm of her hand. Her mother named her Sara Joy. She was aptly named, as joy was what she brought to the family
Sara would come to the car to greet you whenever you returned home. She knew the sound of the engine in the car. When Sara was missing the car would be started and she would return home.
Sara enjoyed helping her mother with the laundry. Her favorite was the folding of the clothes. She would squeeze onto the shelves on her dads desk and lay there for along period to be with him. She loved to romp, run and play in the grass.
Sara was a most loving member of her family. The joy she brought to her family is indescribable. Sara's mother, father, brother Andy (cat), and the extended family will miss her terribly. Andy looks back each time he goes out the door to see if Sara will join him as she always did
Sara passed away at home on June 5, 2014 from cancer. She would have been ten years old in August 2014.
