Alsan was a valued family member who I under-appreciated for years.
She WAS the family cat, the girls' cat -- I was a dog person. For fifteen years she was always around (well, except when she out on her walk-abouts) but I was busy taking care of others. Five years ago she and I were kinda surprised to discover we were alone together.
Aslan and I bonded ... we made a great team. She converted me, and other dog people, to cat people. She was a stellar representative of her species and will be truly missed.
