Our girl Spud was a wonderful friend and a real personality (all Bulldogs have "real" personalities). She loved water, but couldn't swim, loved food of all kinds (and we often paid the price), snored mightily, and made our lives a joy with her companionship. We couldn't take her anywhere without drawing a crowd and she loved all the attention, especially that of children. She died this fall at the ripe old age (for a Bulldog) of 12. We miss her every day.
