Shilo, a/k/a Yoyo, lived life to the fullest, swimming every day in the pool in the summer, standing watch over the neighborhood from his spot in the driveway, and reading the newspaper on his walks. He was the calmest, sweetest, most gentle dog you could find. He was sent to us for a purpose, which he fulfilled well. He was a constant companion, never leaving my side, and lived past the age of 15. Nothing will ever be the same without him, the yard, the house, the pool – he was always present, and will be missed by all the neighbors, and terribly missed by his family. He wouldn’t have left us if he didn’t have to, but his buddy Dice was waiting for him, so he could show him how good it felt to be able to run again without pain. We will think about him every day and miss his presence in our lives always.
