Lana

A donation was made in memory of Lana by the doctors and staff at Valley Veterinary Hospital on Jul 29, 2023.

Lana was a pure bred Border Terrier who initially was raised to be show dog. Her official AKC name was High Society. Lana turned out to be a small dog and her career of being a show dog ended which luckily brought her into our lives. Lana joined our family when she was 11 months old. She became the younger sister to Zoe, another Border Terrier from the same breeder. Zoe & Lana were inseparable from the moment they were brought together. They loved to chase rabbits, run across the fields, play tug of war with a sock and sleep side by side in the same bed. We lost Zoe when she was one month shy of her 15th birthday. Lana was very lost without her for awhile and then enjoyed being the Queen Bee or Diva Dog. She was a gentle, loving dog who enjoyed long walks, sleeping, getting lots of love and eating the food dropped by all the grandchildren. We lost Lana just one month shy of her 18th birthday. We miss her and Zoe but are comforted knowing that they are chasing rabbits, running in fields and being together again.
