Wrigley

A donation was made in memory of Wrigley by Christie Anderson on Mar 13, 2011.

Wrigley came into my life in February of 2002. She was a frightened, stressed dog when I saw her at our local shelter. She was pulled from the shelter by the local border collie rescue group and placed in a foster home. Soon I was lucky enough to have her placed with me. She then became part of my family and shared life with me and my canine companion, Jasper.
This lovely dog started to accompany me on my adventures into dog agilty and opened my life to a wonderful group of supporting people. Through training and competition her place was right in my lap (or a friend) whenever we had down time. But she was always willing to get up and play.
In 2008 she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Through the wonderful support of WSU veterinary school she came through radiation treatment with a bounce to her step and circles for me! This treatment allowed us to enjoy more than a year of life.

She will always have a place in my heart.

Comments: Wrigley touched the hearts of lots of people in her special way, whether it was in the agility ring or doing demos at obedience class or chillin' on the couch with Jane. I felt like she was always smiling inside. Wrigs, I will miss you, my friend.

Comments: Wrigley was a wise dog even when she was young, and a good teacher and friend to many silly puppies and people!
